SPRINGFIELD, Tenn. -- The Rose-Hulman men's golf team finished tied for third at the Music City Shootout with a team score of 617 (+41).
Ryan Beerheide was the tournament champion, finishing first with round scores of 72 and 74 for a total score of 146 (+2).
Owen King was the next best finisher for Rose-Hulman, placing tied for eighth with scores of 77 and 74 for a total of 151 (+7).
Nate Benson rounded out the top three finishers for Rose, placing tied for 40th with scores of 77 and 83 for a total of 160 (+16).
Rose-Hulman men's golf will return home to host the Great Lakes Intercollegiate on Saturday, March 21, and Sunday, March 22, at the Country Club of Terre Haute.
