TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Fightin' Engineers competed as individuals at the Indiana Little State Championships and the Gibson Invitational.
 
At the Gibson Invitational, Irene Lema Madueno broke her own school record in the pole vault with a jump of 11' 3.50" to take 13th place. Rose Talbert would add a 10th-place finish in the 400m, as she recorded a time of 57.58.
 
Carolina Synder-Perez would lead Rose-Hulman at the Indiana Little State Championships. She recorded an eighth-place finish in the discus, with a throw of 120' 2". Mackenna Bessler added a 13th place finish in the 400m hurdles, with a time of 1:13.36
 
The Fightin' Engineers will look to win back-to-back conference titles as they take on the HCAC Outdoor Championships on Thursday, April 23, through Saturday, April 25.
