TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Three Rose-Hulman track & field standouts have qualified to compete in the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships in La Crosse, Wisconsin, this week. Antoine Cooper will represent the men's team in the discus, while Rose Talbert and Jocelyn Onstot will represent the women's team in the 400-meter dash and the 3,000-meter steeplechase. 

ROSE-HULMAN TRACK & FIELD NOTES:
* Three student-athletes are set to represent the Fightin' Engineers at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships. 
* On the men's side, Antoine Cooper earned his spot at the national meet after finishing the regular season ranking 19th in the discus. 
* Cooper earned his season-best mark at the 2026 HCAC Outdoor Championships, throwing a distance of 51.51 meters (169' 0").
* On the women's side, Rose Talbert has qualified in the 400-meter dash, ranking 18th in NCAA DIII.
* Talbert earned her season-best time at the Indiana DIII Track & Field Championships earlier this season with a time of 55.47.
* Jocelyn Onstot is the other national qualifier on the women's team, ranking 20th in the 3,000-meter steeplechase. 
* She broke her own school record in the event at the St. Francis Fighting Chance Invite with a time of 10:40.39.
* This is the second-career appearance at the outdoor national meet for both Talbert and Cooper, and the first-career appearance for Onstot.
