TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Fightin' Engineers men's golf team has claimed the 2025-26 GCAA Team Academic Award as they were one of 62 teams that achieved a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Rose-Hulman was one of five HCAC teams to be recognized with Team Academic honors alongside Anderson, Bluffton, Earlham, and Transylvania.
Alongside the Team Academic Award,
Ryan Beerheide,
Owen King,
Austin Frick, and
Nate Benson each accumulated Cobalt Golf Scholar All-American honors. All four athletes participated in at least 50% of their team's competitive rounds, while recording an average score of under 79.0 and a GPA of 3.2 or higher.
A total of 95 schools had a Scholar All-American honoree, while the Fightin' Engineers were one of 29 teams to have at least four Scholar All-American recipients.
The Fightin' Engineers will open the 2026-27 season at the Transylvania Invitational on Saturday, September 5 through Sunday, September 6. They will be led by the return of three-time All-HCAC honoree Frick as well as CSC Academic All-District selection Benson.
