LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Fightin' Engineers tee off the season at the Transylvania Invitational in Lexington, Kentucky. Rose-Hulman will compete in 36 holes of golf on Saturday, September 5 and 18 holes on Sunday, September 6.
 
ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* The Fightin' Engineers are coming off a fifth-place finish at last year's HCAC Championships.
* The team fields four returners from last season and seven newcomers.
* Rose-Hulman competed at the Transylvania Invitational last season, recording a third-place finish with a score of 875 (+111).
* Senior Austin Frick tied for ninth place with a score of 218 (+2).
* Frick competed in 11 rounds of golf during the 2025-26 season, setting a single season school record with an average round score of 73.67.
* He was named to the All-HCAC First Team for the third time in his career.
* Junior Nate Benson competed in 21 rounds of golf, recording an average round score of 78.14.
* Both Frick and Benson were recognized as Scholar All-Americans.
* Junior Eli Kelley posted an average round score of 81.79 across 14 rounds.
* Junior Connor Bishop recorded an average round score of 84.67 across nine rounds.
