TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Rose-Hulman athletics department is excited to announce that Sydney Logan has been hired as the new assistant coach for the men's and women's swimming and diving teams.
 
Logan joins the Fightin' Engineers coaching staff after spending the 2026-27 season as a Graduate Assistant Coach at the University of Texas-Rio Grande Valley. Logan served as an assistant coach for the women's swimming and diving team, where she coached a diver who qualified for the NCAA Championships.
 
Prior to her stint with UTRGV, Logan spent the 2024-25 season at the University of Michigan as a Swim Camp Coach. She gained experience working at Keifer Aquatics from 2023-26, and also worked as a Naval Academy Camp Counselor and Coach during the summer of 2024.
 
"I am super excited to join the amazing staff here at Rose-Hulman," said Logan. "I cannot wait to learn from Coach Crawford and Coach Marrs and help bring our men's and women's teams to the next level."
 
Logan graduated from Carthage College in 2025 with a bachelor's degree in exercise sports science with a minor in psychology. She is currently continuing her education at the University of Texas-Rio Grande Valley, with an expected master's degree in sports management in 2027.
