TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology softball team will be back in action this afternoon at Manchester Unbiversity. The Fightin' Engineers and Spartans will play a DH with game one of the day beginning at 3:30 p.m.
Rose-Hulman enters today with a 9-13 record. Manchester sits at 7-17-1 in 2017. Both teams will look to snap losing skids this afternoon.
On the year, catcher Morgan Dreyer is having an excellent season at the plate, batting .352 with three doubles, one home run and 10 RBIs. Dreyer went 3-4 in game two of yesterday's doubleheader at Hanover College. Leadoff hitter Jessica Will continues to lead the team with 26 hits. Will is hitting at a .329 clip. Maddie Struble and Michelle Korf lead the Fightin' Engineers with 13 RBIs.
