TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology senior Jaclyn Setina is headed to the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field National Championships after a successful indoor season.
Setina ranks No. 16 nationally in the high jump after clearing 5' 5 3/4" at the Engineer Invitational in January. The competition will take place on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. CT at the Birmingham CrossPlex in Birmingham, Ala.
Setina has enjoyed a solid career at Rose-Hulman with seven Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference individual championships. She is a five-time high jump conference champion (indoors 2016-18; outdoors 2016-17) and has also been a member of winning 4-x-200 and 4-x-400 indoor relays during her career.
Her efforts include a school record as part of the 4-x-400 relay (4:09.70) and a No. 2 ranking in both the indoor (5' 6 1/4") and outdoor (5' 6 1/4") high jump.
Setina continues a women's high jump tradition of success at the NCAA Championships. Her current position coach, Liz Evans, won five national championships and was an eight-time NCAA Division III All-American at Rose-Hulman.
