- Rose-Hulman defeated Northern Vermont-Johnson 14-3 and lost 1-0 to St. Mary's (Minn.) to open the season on Monday.
- Hannah Bach led Rose-Hulman with four hits on opening day, including a 3-3 performance against Northern Vermont-Johnson.
- Angela Boulboulle added two hits, two runs and four RBIs in the nightcap. Five players had multiple hits for the Engineer offense in the game two win.
- Rose-Hulman returns six varsity letter winners from the 2018 squad. Honorable mention all-Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference honoree Maddie Struble leads the offensive returners after batting .356 with nine doubles and 37 total hits.
