Softball Puts 3-3 Mark on the Line with Thursday Doubleheader

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology softball team faces Eastern at 10:15 am and Regis (Mass.) at 12:30 pm in a pair of contests on Thursday in Clermont, Florida.

  • Rose-Hulman stands 3-3 in Florida, with wins over John Jay (13-1), Mitchell (7-3) and Elizabethtown (6-4).
  • The John Jay win featured a one-hitter from Emily Struble and a 10-run fifth inning explosion.
  • In the Mitchell game, Rose-Hulman had six hits and Alyssa Pinkston tossed the complete game for the win.
  • The Elizabethtown game featured a 10-hit offensive attack and another pitching win for Pinkston.
  • Gabrielle Davidson leads the offense with a .421 batting average and has one triple this season.
  • MaKenzie Morgan is also at the .400 mark with two doubles and one triple.
