TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology women's track and field team won 12 events and conducted Senior Night for 11 team members at Friday Night Spikes Series Meet #4 at the SRC.
Nosa Igiehon led the individual performances as the Fightin' Engineers defeated Manchester and Franklin on Friday. Igiehon won the high jump (5' 2 1/4"), triple jump (35' 4") and 60-meter hurdles (9.64 seconds).
Adekite Oladipupo added two event wins, claiming top honors in the 60-meter dash (8.44 seconds) and the long jump (15' 5").
Other field event winners included
Claire Perkins in the pole vault (10' 0") and
Cassie Utley in the shot put (38' 7 3/4").
In track events, individual winners also included
Katrina Agustin in the 200-meters (28.77);
Sarozjani Hunter in the mile (6:00.73);
Emily Peterson in the 400 (1:04.27); and
Christina Rogers in the 800 (2:31.63).
The 4-x-400 meter relay team of Peterson,
Dara Smith,
Madison Lindfelt and Rogers added a win in 4:28.21.
