HCAC TOURNAMENT PROGRAM - RHIT vs. BLUFFTON  (print at home; copies will not be available at the game)

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology baseball team hosts Bluffton University in the Best-of-3 HCAC Opening Round Series this weekend at Art Nehf Field.  The first team to win two games this weekend will advance to the HCAC Tournament that takes place May 20-23.  The tournament will be hosted by the best remaining seed after this weekend's action.

Only limited and invited family members or specifically invited Rose-Hulman community members can attend home outdoor events in 2020-21.  If you have not been directly contacted by a member of the team, you will be refused entry into the game.  Guests must fill out the campus visitor Travel & Symptoms Form 24 hours before attending an event.  NO visiting fans will be permitted and NO members of the general public will be permitted.

ROSE-HULMAN (23-12, 23-12 HCAC) GAME NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman has won 12 of its last 14 games entering the weekend HCAC Tournament series against Bluffton.
* Shaine Mitchell has set a Rose-Hulman single-season school record with 27 stolen bases this spring.
* Harris Camp ranks No. 3 in RHIT history with 43 career stolen bases.
* Logan Cody has a team-high 13 extra base hits, including 8 doubles, 3 triples and 4 home runs.
* Manuel Lopez (.378, 9 2B, 4 HR), Josh Mesenbrink (.367, 7 2B, 2 3B, 2 HR), Brett Tuttle (.366, 8 2B, 2 3B), Adam Taylor (.362, 5 2B, 1 3B) and Luke Calabrese (.354, 8 2B, 2 HR) are all batting over .350.
* Starting pitchers this season have included Jacob Petrisko (6-1, 3.23 ERA); Ben Yoss (5-1, 3.63); Brett Borcherding (3-0, 4.35); Matthew Rouse (2-1, 1.99); and Josh Erpenbeck (2-4, 6.64).
* Schuyler Wilcox has a team-high 3 saves, and Borcherding joins Adam Taylor with 2 each.  Michael Yager, Petrisko and Ian Kline each have 1 save.

BLUFFTON (16-22, 16-22 HCAC) GAME NOTES:
* Bluffton is batting .276 as a team with 65 doubles, 17 triples and 11 home runs.
* Parker Reynolds (.323, 8 2B, 3 HR), Jack Towell (.316, 6 2B, 1 HR) and Jaxon Rogan (.313, 1 2B, 6 3B, 1 HR) lead the Beavers in hitting this season.
* The team's starting pitchers have included Tommy Siemer (5-3, 5.91); Jacob Boelkens (3-3, 3.94); Garrett O'Reilly (2-5, 5.88); and Seth Altman (0-1, 6.52).
* Seth Evans is the team's closer with 5 saves, a 1.96 ERA and 15 strikeouts in 18.1 innings of work.
