TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Fightin' Engineers baseball team has earned the ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award from the American Baseball Coaches Association for the 2026 season. 

The ABCA recognizes ABCA member teams from all levels of high school and collegiate baseball that achieved a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher during the 2025-26 academic year. 

Rose-Hulman joins 200 other NCAA Division III schools that received the honor this season. This is the 11th consecutive year that the Fightin' Engineers have earned the award, being named a recipient in all 11 years of the award program's existence.

Rose-Hulman is scheduled to open the 2027 competition season in late February, with practices, team workouts and other events scheduled for this fall.
