TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology women's track and field team relied on three first-place finishes and one school record to highlight a strong runner-up team finish at the DePauw Invitational on Saturday.

Rofiat Adeyemi won two events with first-place finishes in both the long jump (17' 2 1/4") and the triple jump (36' 0 1/4").  The long jump mark was a personal best for Adeyemi and ranks No. 3 in school history.

Evelyn Utley snapped her own school record to bring home first-place honors in the shot put with a mark of 40' 7".

Runner-up finishers included Kyra Hicks in the triple jump (33' 6 3/4"); Madison Lindfelt in the 800 (2:30.80); and Claire Perkins in the pole vault (10' 0").

Third-place finishers included Jada Hunter-Hays in the high jump (4' 7"); Dara Smith in the 400 (1:07.45); and Cameron Weber in the weight throw (42' 10 1/4").

Rose-Hulman will once again travel to DePauw for another indoor meet next Saturday Feb. 12.
