FULL MEET RESULTS
TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology won four events and had two runner-up finishes to place second in the Fightin' Engineer Early Bird Invitational on Saturday.
Rofiat Adeyemi led the Rose-Hulman performance with wins in both the long jump (17' 8 3/4") and the triple jump (35' 6"). Adeyemi recorded the No. 2 ranked long jump mark in school history in the performance.
Evelyn Utley also had the No. 2 ranked mark in school history to win the shot put with a distance of 37' 1 3/4".
Aaliyah Briggs added a fourth event win with the top mark in the javelin (110' 6").
Runner-up finishers included
Kyra Hicks in the triple jump (32' 9 3/4") and
Cameron Weber in the hammer (124' 5").
DePauw took home first place honors in the 7-team meet, with Rose-Hulman placing second. The Fightin' Engineers return to action at the Hanover Invitational next Saturday.
