TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology relied on nine top-two finishes to place third overall in the Friday Night Spikes Series Meet No. 2 at the Sports and Recreation Center on Jan. 20.
Evelyn Utley set a school record for the second consecutive week with a shot put mark of 42' 3 1/4" to pace the individual winning performances.
Rofiat Adeyemi was the only Fightin' Engineer to win two events after placing first in both the long jump (17' 9 3/4") and triple jump (36' 11 1/2").
Other event winners included
Katrina Agustin in the 60-meter dash (8.10) and
Narindwa Semakula in the 60-meter hurdles (9.12 seconds).
Rose-Hulman hosts Friday Night Spikes Series Meet No. 3 next weekend.
