TERRE HAUTE, Ind.-- The Rose-Hulman men's track & field team traveled to compete in the John Gartland Invitational hosted by Indiana State on Friday night. The team had some outstanding individual performances to start the season.
The team took six top-five finishes and two event wins. The Engineers earned the top three spots in the 3000-meter run led by
Thomas Tullius with a time of 8:56.53. He was followed by
Joshua Pohle (9:01.51) and
Eduardo Del Rosal (9:10.45).
Ethan Miller added a fifth-place finish in the race with a time of 9:18.86.
Jacob Eve finished first in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:04.70. He was followed by
Connor Bodie with a third-place finish and a time of 2:04.70.
The team will continue the indoor season hosting the Friday Night Spikes Series Opener on Friday, 1/12 at 6 PM.
