TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology baseball team continues their St. Louis road trip with a 2:30 PM CT game at Washington University in St. Louis. The Fightin' Engineers beat Webster yesterday to open their mid-week road trip.

ROSE-HULMAN GAME NOTES:
* The Fightin' Engineers come in to this weekend with a 15-8 record and at 7-1 in the HCAC. 
* Rose-Hulman comes into this week with wins in eight of their last ten games. This includes a sweep of Defiance and Mount St. Joseph, a win over Wabash, and winning 2 of three over Hanover.
* The Fightin' Engineers are 14-4 in their last 18 games with their losses coming in a series sweep by #22 Wisconsin-Oshkosh and one to Hanover.
* The Fightin' Engineers currently sits a half game back of Bluffton for first-place in the HCAC.
* After playing Wash U, Rose-Hulman will return home for a three-game series with Transylvania.

* Clayton Miller had a 1.001 OPS with .559 slugging percentage. He has five home runs and 14 extra base hits this season.
* Will Henkel has been the ace on the hill for the Bears this season with a 5-1 record and a 2.70 ERA and 1.29 WHIP.
* Kyle Coates has been excellent out of the bullpen with a 2.45 ERA and 1.14 WHIP in 12 appearances.
* Wash U comes in allowing less than four earned runs per game
* After batting Rose-Hulman, the Bears will host Brandeis in a four-game weekend series.

SERIES HISTORY:
* Rose-Hulman leads the all-time series 10-8 over Wash U.
* The Fightin' Engineers won the last meeting 6-5 back in the 2016 NCAA Tournament. The Fightin' Engineers beat Wartburg, Wash U, and Wisconsin-Whitewater en route to the Central Regional Finals.
* Prior to this, Rose-Hulman lost four consecutive games from 2012-2014.
* The Fightin' Engineers won the four games prior to that in 1996 and 1998.
