TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology women's track and field team recorded nine point scoring performances against primarily NCAA Division I competition at Indiana State University on Saturday and Sunday.
The 4-x-100 meter relay team ofÂ
Narindwa Semakula,
Rofiat Adeyemi,
Alex Adams and
Katrina Agustin led Rose-Hulman finishers with a time of 50.71 seconds for second place.
Top individual finishers included
Kyra Hicks with a 6th place in the triple jump (35' 6") and
Emily Peterson in the 400-meter dash (1:02.34).
Two performances ranked No. 2 in Rose-Hulman history.Â
Narindwa Semakula was 2nd all-time in the 100 hurdles with a time of 14.86 seconds.Â
Evelyn Utley added a 2nd-place all-time mark in the shot put (40' 7").
Rose-Hulman returns to action at the Wabash Invitational on Saturday.
