Baseball Visits Hanover for First Road Games Since February

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology baseball team rides a six-game winning streak into this weekend as they are set to visit the Hanover College Panthers for a three-game series. Due to Easter being on Sunday, the games will be played at 4 PM on Friday and 12 PM and 3 PM on Saturday.

ROSE-HULMAN GAME NOTES:
* The Fightin' Engineers come in to this weekend with a 13-6 record and at 5-0 in the HCAC. They are the lone unbeaten team remaining in the HCAC.
* Rose-Hulman has won six straight games with a sweep of Defiance, shutout of Wabash, and a sweep of Mount St. Joseph.
* The Fightin' Engineers have won twelve of their last fifteen games with their losses coming in a series sweep by #22 Wisconsin-Oshkosh.
* Rose-Hulman opened the year with a 1-2 record against #9 LaGrange.
* The Fightin' Engineers currently sit alone atop the HCAC with a half-game lead over both Franklin and Bluffton
* Rose-Hulman will return to the road next week for a pair of mid-week games on Tuesday at Webster and on Wednesday at Wash U.

HANOVER NOTES:
* Hanover comes into the weekend at 7-14 on the season with a 1-5 record in the HCAC.
* The Panthers have lost five straight games and eight of their last nine. Four of those eight games have been decided by one run.
* Hanover has a pair of common opponents with Rose-Hulman. The Panthers went 1-2 against Mount St. Joseph and 2-1 against Wabash.
* Rose-Hulman beat Wabash 6-0 and swept Mount St. Joseph over the weekend.
* Hanover only has three players batting over .300 with Alex Christie (.382), Connor Farnsley (.362), and Jake Danneman (.321).
* Christie set the school record for home runs in a career earlier this season. He has 16 extra base hits with 8 home runs on the season for an OPS of 1.341.
