JOLIET, Ill. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology women's track and field team closed out their season with
Elsa King competing in the 5,000 meter run at St. Francis.
King ran an 18:47.60 for fourth place in the first heat of the day and 33rd overall for the race, and her time ranked as the third-fastest time in school history by just 0.06 seconds over Rachel Krasich from 2008.
King improved her 5,000 meter time by over 30 seconds on Friday as her best time coming in was a 19:17.63 at the HCAC Championships.
The Fightin' Engineers end their successful season that included an indoor HCAC Championship and a third-place finish in the Outdoor Championships.
