CHAMPIONSHIP VENUE

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology will compete in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Baseball Tournament in Kokomo, Indiana starting on Thursday morning. The Fightin' Engineers earned the #4 seed in the tournament and will take on the Anderson Ravens at 1:15 PM. With a win, Rose-Hulman will play again on Thursday at either 4:30 PM or 7:45 PM. With a loss, Rose-Hulman will play again on Friday morning at 10 AM.

* The Fightin' Engineers finished the regular season with a 21-19 record and at 13-9 in the HCAC. 
* Rose-Hulman earned the #4 seed thanks to a split with #3 Bluffton and a sweep of #6 Manchester to close out the season.
* The Fightin' Engineers ended their season on a four-game winning streak.
* The team currently ranks 4th in school history with 30 home runs this season. Last year's team finished second in school history with 34.
* Rose-Hulman has tallied 179 walks this season which ranks 6th in school history for a single season. Their 59 times being hit by a pitch ranks 3rd in school history, just four shy of the 2022 team that set the school record.

* Fellow freshman Griffin Wolf had an OPS of 1.054 which is second on the team.
* Justin Reed and Tyler Smitherman have been dominating with power with 57 combined extra base hits.
* Landen Southern leads the team on the mound with a 6-3 record in 12 starts. He has a 4.78 ERA with 11.67 strikeouts per 9 innings.
