Rose-Hulman Baseball Releases 2024 Schedule

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- We are less than one week away from the 2024 Rose-Hulman baseball season which means it is time to break down the schedule. The full schedule can be seen HERE.

The Fightin' Engineers will open the season on Saturday, February 24 as they travel to Atlanta, Georgia for a three-game series with Emory University.

After the games in Atlanta, Rose-Hulman will continue to travel South to Orlando for five games against Dubuque, Moravian, Grove City (DH), and Houghton from February 27 to March 2.

Rose-Hulman will open their 2024 home slate on March 15 and 16 as they host the Calvin Knights for a three-game series. The Fightin' Engineers will host four more non-conference games during the season including Greenville (March 20), Wabash (March 27), Webster (April 17), and DePauw (April 24).

The Fightin' Engineers will also hit the road for three more non-conference games including WashU (April 10), DePauw (April 14), and Greenville (April 30).

Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference play kicks off on Saturday, March 23 as Rose-Hulman hosts Mount St. Joseph for a doubleheader at 1 PM and 4 PM. Other HCAC home games for the Fightin' Engineers include Bluffton (3 games - April 6-7), Earlham (2 games - April 13), Anderson (3 games - April 20-21), and Manchester (2 games - May 5) for Senior Day.

Rose-Hulman will also travel on the road for ten games with Franklin (2 games on March 24), Transylvania (3 games on March 30-31), Defiance (3 games on April 27-28), and Hanover (2 games on May 4).

The top six teams in the HCAC will qualify for the HCAC Tournament from May 9-12 at Kokomo Municipal Stadium in Kokomo, Indiana.

The Fightin' Engineers will play two teams that made the 2023 NCAA Division III Tournament. Franklin College went 0-2 in the NCAA Tournament with losses to #23 La Verne and #12 Birmingham Southern. Webster University went picked up wins over Loras, Augustana (IL), and #13 UW-Stevens Point to reach a winner take all game on Sunday afternoon, but the Gorloks fell to #13 UW-Stevens Point and were eliminated in the Regional Championship.
