TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's track and field team brought home a win in their opening meet of the season in the Early Bird Invitational.
Antoine Cooper led the Fightin' Engineers with a pair of top-2 finishes in the Discus Throw and Hammer Throw.
Jailen Hobbs set the school record and the facility record in the 100m Dash with a time of 10.34 seconds. He broke his own school record by 0.05 seconds and the facility record by 0.09 seconds.
Will Boschen,
Kyle Brownell, and
Kolton Nanko each added first-place finishes in the meet.
Rose-Hulman will return to action in two weeks for their first dual-meet weekend of the outdoor season with the WashU Distance Carnival on Friday, March 29 and the Hanover Invitational on Saturday, March 30.
