Baseball Set to Host Wabash on Wednesday at 6 PM

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology baseball team returns home to host Wabash College in a mid-week game this Wednesday, March 25 at 6 PM.

ROSE-HULMAN GAME NOTES:
» Rose-Hulman enters Wednesday's match up with a record of 11-6 overall and 3-1 in the HCAC.
» The Fightin' Engineers opened conference play this past weekend with two doubleheaders against conference opponents.
» The team split against Mount St. Joseph falling in the first game 7-3 and winning game two 12-6.
» The Engineers continued their weekend with a sweep over Franklin College 11-5 and 7-4.
» Rose-Hulman leads the conference and ranks fifth in the nation with 22 double plays this season. 
» The team ranks fourth in the nation in double plays per game with 1.29.
» Kade Kline leads the team in nearly every single batting category. He is hitting 0.429 on the season with a 0.500 on-base percentage, 0.714 slugging percentage, and a 1.214 OPS.
» Kline leads the team with 30 hits, three triples, four home runs, 26 runs scored, nine extra-base hits, 22 RBIs, and eight stolen bases.
» Earlier this season, Kline was the first player to hit for the cycle in school history in the Fightin' Engineers' last win of the Florida trip against Houghton.
» Colter Couillard-Rodak has also been a standout at the plate with a .324 batting average totaling 15 runs scored, 22 hits, and 15 RBIs.
» Dalton Busboom has been a solid addition to the lineup after returning from an injury with a .500 on-base percentage batting .364 this season.
» Michael Yager leads the Fightin' Engineers on the mound with 23.2 innings pitched and 22 strikeouts this season.
» Camden Judson has also been a strong performer with a team-leading 2.45 ERA and .82 WHIP.
» The Fightin' Engineers will return to conference play traveling to face Transylvania in a three-game series on Friday, March 29 at 7 PM, and Saturday, March 30 at 1 PM and 4 PM. 

WABASH NOTES:
» Wabash enters the mid-week showdown with a record of 8-7 overall this season. 
» The team comes off a pair of wins against Illinois Wesleyan in their three-game series last weekend. 
» Benjamin Henke leads the team with a batting average of.421 and 24 hits.
» Camden Scheidt has also been a standout this season with a team-high 22 runs scored and 20 RBIs.
» Caleb Everson leads the team on the mound with 26.1 innings pitched and 21 strikeouts. 
» Dylan Haslett has also been an good pitching option for the Little Giants with a 3.46 ERA pitching 13.0 innings with 13 strikeouts. 
» After facing the Engineers, Wabash will host #6 Denison in a doubleheader on Saturday, March 30 at 12 PM and 3 PM.
