Men's Track and Field Wins Hanover Invitational for 2nd Straight Win

FINAL RESULTS

HANOVER, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's track and field team brought home their second meet victory of the outdoor season on Saturday at the Hanover Invitational. As a team, the Fightin' Engineers won eleven different events en route to their invitational title.

The men's 4x100m relay team of Jack Cox, Caleb Heldman, Jailen Hobbs, and Tim Youndt highlighted the day for Rose-Hulman as they ran the 2nd fastest time in school history and the 4th fastest time in HCAC history with a 42.01.

Hobbs brought home two more first-place finishes in the 100m and 200m Dashes with times of 10.61 and 21.96 seconds.

Youndt joined Hobbs with two more individual titles in the Long Jump (21' 11") and the Triple Jump (45' 1.5").

Antoine Cooper added a first place finish in the Discus Throw with the 5th-best mark in school history at 159' 9".

The freshman duo of Spencer Cruse and Kolton Nanko each added a first-place finish with a season-best performance in the 400m Hurdles (58.38) for Cruse and the Pole Vault (14' 3.25") for Nanko.

The Fightin' Engineers will return to action on Saturday, April 6 when they travel to Wabash College for the Huntsman Invitational.
