VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology senior Jailen Hobbs has earned All-American honors with a 3rd-place finish in the 60m Dash on Saturday afternoon.

Hobbs ran a school record time of 6.74 seconds in the finals to bring home 3rd place behind a pair of runners from UW-La Crosse and UW-Oshkosh.

He is the 58th All-American in Rose-Hulman track and field history, and his third place finish is the highest finish in Nationals for a Fightin' Engineer since Liz Evans in 2013.

The All-American award for Hobbs is the fifth of his career. He is just the fifth Rose-Hulman athlete to earn five All-American honors joining Andrew Schipper, Liz Evans, Ellie Hong, and Sutton Coleman.
