TRIPLE JUMP RESULTS
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology senior
Tim Youndt brought home a 10th-place finish in the Triple Jump Nationals Finals on Saturday morning.
Youndt jumped 14.36 meters and 47' 1.5" in the preliminary round, and he missed the finals by just 1 centimeter and 0.25 inches.
The Pottstown, Pennsylvania native bettered his 15th place finish in 2023 with his top-10 result this year.
The mechanical engineering major is a 5-time USTFCCCA All-Region honoree, and he was named the 2024 HCAC Men's Jumps Athlete of the Year. Youndt also earned the Varsity R Club Senior of the Year for his track performances last season.
Youndt will turn his attention to the outdoor season where he will open the year in the Early Bird Invitational at Rose-Hulman on March 16.
