RESULTS
GREENCASTLE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's track and field team dominated with some top-level performances from their stars en route to a 2nd place finish at the Indiana DIII Championships.
Kyle Brownell highlighted the meet with a school record High Jump mark of 6' 9.5" that ranks #4 in the NCAA Division III this season.
Jailen Hobbs and
Prescott Brackett rolled to the top-2 times in school history in the 200m Dash with a 21.35 for Hobbs and a 21.69 for Brackett. Hobbs' time of 21.35 ranks as the 5th-fastest time in the country to date.
Hobbs also added a 1st place finish in the 100m Dash with a time of 10.53 seconds which ranks 8th-fastest in NCAA Division III this season. He was named the Men's Track Athlete of the Meet for his performance.
Other 1st place finishes for Rose-Hulman included
Sebastien Hughes in the Triple Jump,
Kolton Nanko in the High Jump, and the men's 4x100m Relay team.
The Fightin' Engineers will return to their home track on Friday, April 19 at 4:30 PM as they host their Twilight Invitational.
