Rathbun School Record Leads Women's Track & Field at DePauw

RESULTS

GREENCASTLE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology women's track and field team brought home a fifth place finish from the Indiana DIII Championships on Saturday afternoon at DePauw University.

Kylie Rathbun highlighted the meet for the Fightin' Engineers, breaking the Hammer Throw school record by over 9 feet with a mark of 153' 4". She also added a 4th place finish in the Javelin Throw to be the only Rose-Hulman athlete with multiple top-4 finishes in the meet.

Kyra Hicks won the Triple Jump with a mark of 36' 4". She is the only Fightin' Engineer to win an event at the Indiana DIII Championships.

Carolina Snyder-Perez finished 3rd in the Discus Throw and 6th in the Shot Put on Saturday. Her mark of 126' 1" ranks 2nd in school history in the Discus Throw.

The Fightin' Engineers will return to their home track on Friday, April 19 at 4:30 PM as they host their Twilight Invitational.
