TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology baseball team is set to host Webster in a mid-week showdown on Wednesday, April 17 at 6 PM at Art Nehf Field.

ROSE-HULMAN GAME NOTES:
» Rose-Hulman stands at 17-11 overall and 8-4 in the HCAC heading into the match up with the Gorloks.
» The team comes off a productive weekend sweeping their doubleheader against Earlham and earning a win against DePauw. 
» The Fightin' Engineers have won six of their last seven games defeating DePauw, Earlham, and Bluffton. 
» The Fightin' Engineers have been picked to finish fourth in the conference receiving 62 points in the league's preseason poll.
» Rose-Hulman leads the conference and ranks fourth in the nation with 32 double plays this season. 
» The team also ranks fifth in the nation in double plays per game with 1.14.
» Kade Kline leads the team with 44 hits, 40 runs scored, and 13 stolen bases this season.
» Earlier this season, Kline was the first player to hit for the cycle in school history in the Fightin' Engineers' last win of the Florida trip against Houghton.
» Michael Stenger has been another standout at the plate leading the team with a .389 batting average, .722 slugging percentage, and a 1.185 OPS. 
» Connor O'Connell has also been exceptional this season for the Fightin' Engineers. He currently has a .361 batting average with 39 hits leading the team with 11 doubles and 40 RBIs.
» Michael Yager leads the Fightin' Engineers on the mound with 42.0 innings pitched and 38 strikeouts. 
» Jonathan Oliger has been the team's star reliever with three saves and a 3.60 ERA.
» The Fightin' Engineers will return to HCAC action hosting Anderson University in a three game series on Saturday, April 20 at 1 PM and 4 PM, and Sunday, April 21 at 12 PM. 

WEBSTER NOTES:
» Webster enters their match up with the Fightin' Engineers with a record of 14-13 overall this season. 
» The team comes off a split in their doubleheader against Westminster falling in game one 9-7, and winning game two 23-19. 
» James Theodore leads the team with 45 hits and 22 stolen bases this season.
