CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's track and field team brought home a third-place finish from the Wabash Huntsman Invitational thanks to a top-notch performance from senior Jailen Hobbs.

Hobbs had an outstanding day winning three events against a top-notch field of athletes. He cruised to the 100m Dash and 200m Dash titles with times of 10.58 and 21.39 seconds. He then combined with Jack Cox, Caleb Heldman, and Tim Youndt to break the school record with a time of 41.68 in the 4x100m dash. It is the #2 mark in the history of the HCAC and just 0.04 seconds behind Anderson's mark in 2003.

Kyle Brownell also brought home an event title in the High Jump with a mark of 6' 7", and Antoine Cooper finished the meet with a Discus title with a mark of 145' 6" and 44.35 meters.

The Fightin' Engineers will return to action next Saturday, April 13 as they travel to DePauw University for the Indiana DIII Championships.
