TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology baseball team continues the HCAC Tournament taking on Anderson on Saturday at 12 PM. With a win, the Fighitn' Engineers will take on Hanover at 3:30 PM. The weekend tournament is held at Kokomo Municipal Stadium in Kokomo, Indiana. General admission is $10 per day with children 11 and under getting in for free.
ROSE-HULMAN GAME NOTES:
» Rose-Hulman earned the #3 seed in the tournament after finishing the regular season with a record of 23-17 overall and 14-8 in the HCAC.
» The Fightin' Engineers defeated Franklin in their first game of the tournament in a shutout win with a final score of 5-0.
»
Michael Yager pitched a gem in the Rose-Hulman win going the entire 9.0 innings with eight strikeouts allowing just five hits and no runs.
» Rose-Hulman suffered a loss in their second game to Transylvania with a final score of 7-2.
» The Fightin' Engineers were able to keep their season alive with a walk off win against Mount St. Joseph University with a final score of 11-10.

Peter Rogers was the hero with a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the ninth to bring home
Jonathan Oliger for the game winning score.
» Rose-Hulman was picked to finish fourth in the conference receiving 62 points in the league's preseason poll.
» The team leads the conference and ranks eighth in the nation with 40 double plays this season.
» The team also leads the conference and ranks 10th in the nation in double plays per game with 1.00.

Kade Kline has been a standout for the team with a .353 batting average, a .970 OPS, 55 runs scored, 66 hits, six triples, and six home runs.
» Earlier this season, Kline was the first player to hit for the cycle in school history in the Fightin' Engineers' last win of the Florida trip against Houghton.

Connor O'Connell has been a strong performer for the Fightin' Engineers as well with a .360 batting average, 32 runs scored, 59 hits, and a team-high 54 RBIs.

Colter Couillard-Rodak has also been a weapon for Rose-Hulman with a .371 batting average, 65 hits, 49 runs scored, and 39 RBIs.

Michael Yager leads the Fightin' Engineers on the mound with 70.0 innings pitched and 63 strikeouts.

Jonathan Oliger has been the team's star reliever with five saves and a 3.78 ERA.

ANDERSON NOTES:
» Anderson earned the #5 seed in the HCAC Tournament with a conference record of 13-9 during the regular season.
» During the tournament, the Ravens lost to Mount St. Joseph 11-10 and defeated Franklin 11-7.
» The team is led by Justin Reed with 56 hits, 31 RBIs, and 37 runs scored.
» Griffin Wolf is another standout at the plate with a .379 batting average, 50 hits, 25 runs scored, and 37 RBIs.
