TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology baseball team will wrap up their regular season with an action packed weekend against HCAC opponents. The team will travel to face Hanover on Saturday, May 4 at 12 PM and 3 PM, and then return home to host Senior Day against Manchester on Sunday, May 5 at 1 PM and 4 PM.
ROSE-HULMAN GAME NOTES:
» Rose-Hulman enters the weekend with a record of 21-15 overall and 12-6 in the HCAC.
» The Fightin' Engineers come off a three-game sweep over Defiance with final scores of 11-10, 14-1, and 12-5.
» The team faced Greenville in the middle of the week and fell short to the Panthers with a final score of 8-11.
» The team has clinched their spot in the HCAC postseason tournament with the wins over the Yellow Jackets.
» Rose-Hulman has been picked to finish fourth in the conference receiving 62 points in the league's preseason poll.
» The Fightin' Engineers currently stand in a tie for third place in the HCAC with Anderson behind Transylvania and Hanover.
» The team leads the conference and ranks seventh in the nation with 37 double plays this season.
» The team also ranks 10th in the nation in double plays per game with 1.03.

Kade Kline leads the team with 47 runs scored, six triples, and 16 stolen bases this season.

» The team earned a three-game sweep over Earlham last weekend with final scores of 7-6, 14-8, and 14-2.
» The Panthers suffered a loss on Tuesday this week to Spalding University with a final score of 11-8.
» Alex Christie leads the team at the plate with a .382 batting average, 55 hits, 44 runs scored, 22 doubles, 10 home runs, and 50 RBIs.
» Jake Danneman is another standout offensively for the Panthers with a .372 batting average, 54 hits, 45 runs scored, 20 RBIs, and 19 stolen bases.

» The Spartans fell short in their mid-week game against Heidelberg with a final score of 10-0.
» Manchester will host Defiance College on Saturday, May 4 at 12 PM and 3 PM before traveling to take on the Fightin' Engineers on Sunday.
