TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology baseball team will take on Transylvania University on Friday morning in their second game of the HCAC Tournament at 10 AM. The weekend tournament will be held at Kokomo Municipal Stadium in Kokomo, Indiana. General admission will be $10 per day with children 11 and under getting in for free.

ROSE-HULMAN GAME NOTES:
» Rose-Hulman earned the #3 seed in the tournament after finishing the regular season with a record of 23-17 overall and 14-8 in the HCAC. 
» The Fightin' Engineers defeated Franklin in a shutout win with a final score of 5-0. 
» Michael Yager pitched a gem in the Rose-Hulman win going the entire 9.0 innings with eight strikeouts allowing just five hits and no runs. 
» Rose-Hulman was picked to finish fourth in the conference receiving 62 points in the league's preseason poll.
» The team leads the conference and ranks eighth in the nation with 40 double plays this season. 
» The team also leads the conference and ranks 10th in the nation in double plays per game with 1.00.
» Kade Kline leads the team with a .373 batting average, a 1.020 OPS, 54 runs scored, 66 hits, six triples, and six home runs.
» Earlier this season, Kline was the first player to hit for the cycle in school history in the Fightin' Engineers' last win of the Florida trip against Houghton.
» Connor O'Connell has been strong performer for the Fightin' Engineers with a .352 batting average, 30 runs scored, 56 hits, and a team-high 53 RBIs.
» Michael Yager leads the Fightin' Engineers on the mound with 70.0 innings pitched and 63 strikeouts. 
» Jonathan Oliger has been the team's star reliever with five saves and a 3.77 ERA.
