DEPAUW RESULTS
INDIANA STATE RESULTS
GREENCASTLE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman women's track & field team earned a second-place finish at the DePauw Invitational this weekend with a team score of 97. The team also had some exceptional individual performances at the Blue-White Classic hosted by Indiana State.
Rose-Hulman earned nine top-three finishes with five event wins in the DePauw Invite.
Jocelyn Onstot earned an individual event win in the 800-meter run.
Rose Talbert was another standout with a second-place finish in the 200-meter dash as she ran a school record time of 25.73 seconds. Both Onstot and Talbert teamed up to earn two event wins in the 4x400-meter relay and the distance medley relay.
The Distance Medley Relay team of
Brianna Bittel, Talbert,
Jada Hunter-Hays, and Onstot set the Rose-Hulman school record with a time of 12:43.31, over 13 seconds faster than the previous record time set in 2013.
Mackenna Bessler led the individuals competing at Indiana State with a ninth-place finish in the 800-meter run.
The women's track & field team will return to action traveling to compete at the John Gartland Invitational on Saturday, February 22, at 12 PM.
