ANDERSON, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology women's track and field team earned a second-place team finish at the Anderson Invitational with a team score of 115. The team also had a select few individuals put up some impressive times at the Fairgrounds Invitational. 

Rose-Hulman placed second in the meet just five points behind Manchester University with a team score of 115 points. The Fightin' Engineers came away with four event wins and 10 top-three finishes in the meet.

Rose Talbert posted the highlight of the day for the Fightin' Engineers as she broke the 200m Dash school record for the second consecutive week in the Fairgrounds Invitational. Talbert ran a 25.97, breaking last week's school record by 0.25 seconds, which currently sits in fifth place all-time in HCAC history.

Iliana Hernandez was exceptional earning a win in the 200m Dash and placing first as a member of the 4x400m Relay team. Hernandez also recorded a second-place finish in the 60m Dash with a personal best time of 8.25 seconds. She also ran a personal best time of 27.41 seconds in the 200m Dash.

Jocelyn Onstot was the top finisher at the Fairgrounds Invite placing 10th in the 800m Run with a time of 2:21.35 that ranks third in Rose-Hulman history, just 0.04 seconds behind the #2 time, set by Ryann-Rebecca Montgomery in 2014.

Audrey Edwards and Irene Lema Madueno rounded out the event winners on the day for the Fightin' Engineers with wins in the High Jump and Pole Vault events at Anderson.

The Fightin' Engineers will return to action next weekend as they compete in another multi-meet weekend when they travel to the DePauw Invitational and the Blue-White Classic at Indiana State on Saturday.
