RESULTS
ANDERSON, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman women's track & field team earned a second-place finish at the HCAC Indoor Track & Field Championships hosted by Anderson University.
Berea won the meet on the women's side with a team score of 149. Rose-Hulman was right behind them finishing just 10 points behind the Mountaineers with a team score of 139.
Rose-Hulman recorded 12 top-three finishes, five event wins, and two school records in the meet.
Rose Talbert was the standout for the Fightin' Engineers earning a first-place finish in the 400-meter dash and breaking the school record in the 200-meter dash with a time of 25.71.
The 4x200-meter relay team of

Iliana Hernandez,
Narindwa Semakula, and Talbert also had a record-breaking performance, breaking the school record in the event with a time of 1:46.26.
The women's track & field team will begin their outdoor season by hosting the Early Bird Invitational on Saturday, March 22, at 11 AM.
