Women's Track & Field Begins Outdoor Season with Third-Place Finish at Early Bird Invite

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman women's track & field team earned a third-place finish at the Early Bird Invitational on Saturday. The team finished the meet with a team score of 150. 

The team finished the meet with 12 top-three finishes and two event wins. 

Audrey Edwards led the team with an event win, placing first in the high jump after clearing a height of 5' 3.0". 

The 4x400-meter relay team of Jada Hunter Hays, Emma Johns, Rose Talbert, and Jocelyn Onstot also earned an event win with a time of 4:07.18.

Jocelyn Onstot was another standout for Rose-Hulman finishing with two second-place finishes in the 1500-meter run (4:51.70) and the 800-meter run (2:22.43). Both times rank third in the Rose-Hulman school record books. 

The Fightin' Engineers women's track & field team will return to action by traveling to compete in the WashU Distance Carnival on Friday, March 28, at 11:15 AM.
