BEREA, Ky. -- The Rose-Hulman women's track & field team claimed their second consecutive HCAC Outdoor Championship this weekend with a final team score of 180.5. This is the program's fourth outdoor title in school history.
Rose-Hulman finished the meet with 10 event wins and 17 top-three finishes.
Jocelyn Onstot was named the Most Outstanding Distance Athlete of the Year.
She highlighted the meet with three event wins in the 3,00-meter steeplechase, 1,500-meter run, and the 800-meter dash. Her time of 2:21.85 in the 800 ranks third in the RHIT record book.
Rose Talbert earned the Most Outstanding Sprints/Hurdles Athlete of the Year.
She claimed two event wins in the 400-meter dash and the 200-meter dash. Her time in the 400 breaks her own school record in the event. She was also a member of the first-place finishing 4x100 relay team.
The women's track & field team will return to action, traveling select individuals to the Sycamore Open on Friday, May 9, at 12 PM.
