TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology baseball team will hit the road to take on Wabash this Wednesday, April 30, at 5 PM.
ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* The Fightin' Engineers stand at 19-16 overall and 12-7 in the HCAC.
* The team comes off a series win over Anderson last weekend, going 2-1 with winning scores of 7-2 and 6-2.

Connor O'Connell leads the team at the plate with a .345 batting average, totaling 49 hits, 34 RBIs, and a slugging percentage of .542.
*
Peter Rogers is another standout hitter with a .324 batting average, totaling 47 hits, 33 runs scored, 13 doubles, 23 RBIs, and a team-high 19 stolen bases.
*
Brady Strawmyer has been the ace on the mound for Rose-Hulman, leading the team with 56.2 innings pitched, a 4.61 ERA, and 52 strikeouts.
* Rose-Hulman has been picked to finish third in the HCAC preseason coaches poll, receiving 67 points.
* Rose-Hulman finished last season with an overall record of 25-19 and a conference record of 14-8. The team advanced to the consolation bracket semifinals in the HCAC with wins over Franklin and Mount St. Joseph.
* The team ended their season with a loss to Anderson in the consolation semifinal.
* The Fightin' Engineers return a trio of All-HCAC selections, including
Kade Kline,
Jonathan Oliger, and
Connor O'Connell.

* After traveling to face Wabash, Rose-Hulman will host their final HCAC three-game series of the regular season against Transylvania. The team's will face off on Friday, May 2, at 7 PM and on Saturday, May 3, for Senior Day at 1 PM and 4 PM.
WABASH NOTES:
* The Little Giants stand at 24-11 overall this season.
* Wabash will face DePauw on Tuesday, April 29, at 10 AM and 1:30 PM before hosting Rose-Hulman on Wednesday.
* Ben Henke is a standout at the plate for the Little Giants with 52 hits, 12 doubles, a .359 batting average, and 33 RBIs this season.
* Camden Scheidt is another standout, hitting .360 this season with 50 hits, 39 runs scored, and 38 RBIs.
* Caleb Everson leads the team on the mound with 49.1 innings pitched, 34 strikeouts, and a 4.20 ERA.
* After playing Rose-Hulman, Wabash will travel to face Aurora in a doubleheader on Friday, May 2, at 1 PM and 4:30 PM CT.

* Rose-Hulman leads the all-time series against Wabash with a record of 41-18 against the Little Giants.
