TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman women's track & field team traveled individuals to compete in the Sycamore Open hosted by Indiana State this weekend.
Rose Talbert was the standout for the Fightin' Engineers earning a first-place finish in the 400-meter dash with a time of 54.98.
Her time breaks her own school record in the event and ranks fifth in NCAA Division III this season, solidifying her spot in the national meet.
Carolina Snyder-Perez had another notable performance with a 10th-place finish in the Discus with a mark of 131' 10". Her mark ranks second in the school record book.
The Rose-Hulman women's track & field team will look ahead to compete in the NCAA Outdoor Championships from Thursday, May 22, to Saturday, May 24.
