GENEVA, Ohio -- Rose-Hulman track & field star
Rose Talbert had an incredible performance at the NCAA Division III Track & Field Championships on Friday.
Talbert finished fourth in the second heat of the 400-meter dash with a time of 54.93. Her time breaks her own school record in the event, previously set at 54.98 at the Sycamore Open.Â
The sophomore chemical engineering major earned her spot in the 400-meter dash final based on time, recording a top-six time across all three heats, excluding the winners of each heat.
Talbert enters tomorrow's final with the fourth fastest time in the prelim race. The top eight in the finals will earn First Team All-America recognition.Â
The 400-meter dash final will take place tomorrow on Saturday, May 24, at 2:20 PM.Â
