TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Fightin' Engineers women's track & field team earned a second-place finish at the Friday Night Spikes #2 Meet. The team finished the night with a team score of 137, behind WashU with a team score of 239.
Rose-Hulman finished the meet with three event wins and 11 top-three finishes.
Jocelyn Onstot had an incredible finish in the mile, winning the race in a time of 5:02.82. Her time is a personal best in the event and ranks second in the Rose-Hulman school record books.
Alex Adams was another standout with an event win in the 200-meter dash in a time of 26.99 and a second-place finish in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.96.
Rose Talbert was the other event winner, placing first in the 400-meter dash with a time of 59.65.
The Rose-Hulman women's track & field team will return to action, hosting the Rose-Hulman Classic on Saturday, January 31, at 3 PM.
