TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Fightin' Engineers open the HCAC season with a doubleheader on both days this weekend. Rose-Hulman will host Earlham on Saturday, March 21, at 1 and 4 PM, and they will face Berea on the road, Sunday, March 22, at 1 and 4 PM.
 
ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* The Fightin' Engineers stand at 6-6 on the season.
* Rose-Hulman has faced three nationally ranked opponents this season, which includes a 9-8 win over #6 Washington-St. Louis.
* Senior Tyler Orr has allowed just one earned run in his last eight innings pitched.
* Orr ranks sixth in the HCAC with 20 strikeouts and fourth with a .213 batting average against.
* Sophomore Liam Richardson has given up just one earned run across the last 8.1 innings pitched.
* Richardson and Orr are each coming off career-highs of six strikeouts in the series with Chicago.
* Sophomore Alex Powers has posted a team-leading 1.80 ERA in five innings of action.
* Freshman Jack Reeves has added two saves, with one coming in Rose-Hulman's upset of WashU.
* Sophomore TJ Pipkins ranks third in the conference with a .450 batting average and fourth with a .725 slugging percentage.
* Pipkins has hit 9-15 over the past four games with seven runs, three doubles, and one home run.
* Junior Jackson Summers has added 20 hits and a .435 batting average, which both rank fifth in the HCAC.
* Summers has scored the fourth most runs in the HCAC at 14, and he scored three runs in three different games this year.
* Sophomore Jackson Harms hit two home runs against Chicago.
* Harms leads the team with 11 RBIs, while seniors Connor O'Connell and Mason Rasmussen have each hit ten RBIs.

EARLHAM NOTES:
* The Quakers have recorded a mark of 5-6 on the year.
* They are coming off a 4-2 win against Franciscan.
* Senior Mitchell Roether leads the HCAC with a .459 batting average.
* Roether has scored eight runs on 17 hits, while recording two home runs and 12 RBIs.
* He has recorded 11 RBIs across the past seven games.
* Senior Ian Bullis has posted a .333 batting average with three doubles and one triple.
* Senior Sean Jeffries has scored eight runs on nine hits, while recording three doubles and two triples.
* Senior Hayden Scalf has achieved a 3-0 record on the mound with a .233 batting average against.
* Scalf has struck out 14 batters, and he has not allowed a single earned run in 11 innings.
* He leads the HCAC with a 0.00 ERA.
* Juniors Kyle Jeffries and Cayman Huntsman have each struck out 17 batters in 19 innings.

* The Mountaineers have started the season with a 1-17 record.
* They closed out their series against Regent with a 4-1 win.
* Senior Miguel Serra leads the team with 17 hits and a .354 average at the plate.
