Rose-Hulman Faces the Felines in Action Packed Week

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Rose-Hulman opens the week at home against DePauw on Wednesday, April 1, at 6 PM. The Fightin' Engineers will continue the season at Hanover for a three-game series on Sunday, April 5, at 4 PM and Monday, April 6, at 1 PM and 4 PM, before rematching with DePauw on the road, Tuesday, April 7, at 4:30 PM.

The weekend series against Hanover was moved from its originally scheduled dates of Friday, April 3, and Saturday, April 4, due to the incoming bad weather. 
 
ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* The Fightin' Engineers have recorded an overall mark of 9-9.
* The team stands at 3-3 in the HCAC, with a sweep of Berea and a series split against Manchester.
* Rose-Hulman is coming off their first shutout of the season in a 4-0 victory against Manchester.
* Jackson Harms accumulated all four RBIs as he hit his second career grand slam in the fifth inning.
* Liam Richardson pitched 5.2 scoreless innings, where he struck out three batters and allowed just three hits.
* Tyler Orr pitched the final 3.1 innings, striking out three batters while not giving up a hit, run, or walk.
* Richardson ranks third in the HCAC with a 2.92 ERA.
* Richardson has given up just three earned runs over the past 20 innings pitched.
* Orr ranks third in the HCAC with a .226 batting average against.

* Riendeau leads the team with 30 strikeouts in 29.1 innings of action.
 
HANOVER NOTES:
* The Panthers have gone 9-12 this season with a 4-3 HCAC record.
* Hanover achieved two wins against Franklin and are coming off a 2-1 record against Mt. St. Joseph.
* Senior Josh Simpson has recorded team-highs with a .372 batting average, 29 hits, 19 runs, six doubles, and 20 RBIs.
* Simpson has hit an HCAC-leading six home runs on the year.
* Freshman Fox Spears has added a .318 batting average with 21 hits and nine runs.
* Both he and freshman Jack Shaeffer have recorded 11 RBIs, with Shaeffer hitting two home runs.
* Senior John Girard ranks second in the conference with 46 strikeouts in 34.2 innings.
* Girard has pitched one complete game, while allowing a .263 batting average against.
* Freshman Parker Heaney has posted a 2-0 record on the mound.
* Haney has struck out 21 batters in 21.2 innings pitched.
 
DEPAUW SERIES HISTORY:
* This will be the 96th career meeting between Rose-Hulman and DePauw since 1990.
