TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Fightin' Engineers will face the #12 Washington-St. Louis Bears in their first game at Art Nehf Field. The game will begin on Tuesday, March 10, at 5 PM.

* Junior Jackson Summers leads the HCAC with a .531 (17-32) batting average.
* Summers has recorded two or more hits in five consecutive games.
* He has scored a season-high three runs against Vermont State-Castleton and Saint Mary's.
* Freshman Michael Hines has made an immediate impact for the Fightin' Engineers.
* Hines leads the team with 11 runs, highlighted by a four-run game against Marian.
* He has recorded a .452 batting average with 14 hits and one triple.
* Senior Connor O'Connell has added a .393 batting average and a team-high eight RBIs.
* O'Connell scored at least one run in all six games at the Russ Matt Invitational.
* He also leads Rose-Hulman with three doubles, while adding one triple.
* Sophomore Gavin Drooger leads the HCAC with a 0.93 ERA.
* Drooger has posted a 2-0 record on the mound, striking out eight batters across 9.2 innings.
* Senior Tyler Orr has recorded a 1-1 record with a 3.46 ERA.
* Orr leads the Fightin' Engineers with 14 strikeouts in 13 innings and a .182 batting average against.
* Orr pitched four innings against Denison, where he allowed zero hits and zero earned runs.

WASHINGTON-ST. LOUIS NOTES:
* The Bears have started the season with a perfect 9-0 record.
* They are ranked as the 12th-best team in the country.
* Senior Shane Pellegrino has recorded a team-leading .528 average at the plate.
* He has scored nine runs on 19 hits, while adding one triple.
* Pellegrino has also hit a team-high seven doubles and 11 RBIs.
* Junior Anthony Equale has recorded a .471 batting average with eight runs on 16 hits.
* Equale has added a team-high 11 RBIs, while both he and sophomore Kevin Stephens have hit one homer.
* Freshman Jacob Witte has posted a .462 batting average with a team-high 12 runs on 12 hits.
* He has recorded nine RBIs and a team-high three triples.
* Freshman Chance Cromer has added a .400 batting average, scoring ten runs on 12 hits.
* Junior Townsend Stevenson leads the team with 22 strikeouts in just 13 innings pitched.
* Junior Levi Gingerich has accumulated a team-leading 0.64 ERA, while allowing a .146 batting average against in 14 innings.
* Fifth Year Chase Brickley has hauled in a team-best .136 batting average against.
* Brickley has added a 0.95 ERA, pitching 16 strikeouts in 19 innings of action.
