Rose-Hulman Concludes Regular Season Against Millikin and Transylvania

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Rose-Hulman will conclude the regular season with home and away games. The Fightin' Engineers open the week at home against Millikin, Wednesday, April 29 at 6:30 PM. They will then face Transylvania on the road in a three-game series, on Friday, May 1 at 7:30 PM, and Saturday, May 2 at 1 and 4 PM.
 
ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman stands at 21-14 with a 12-7 HCAC record.
* Following their three-game series sweep over Anderson, Rose-Hulman is currently the #3-seed in the HCAC.
* The Fightin' Engineers have won six straight games.
* Head Coach Adam Rosen has extended his streak of winning more than 20 games in each of his five seasons at Rose-Hulman.
* Liam Richardson and Brad Nardi are each coming off incredible performances this past week.
* Brad Nardi struck out a career-high seven batters in six innings against Bluffton.
* Nardi leads all Rose-Hulman starting pitchers with a .281 batting average against.
* Liam Richardson recorded a career-high nine strikeouts in seven innings against Anderson.
* Richardson leads the team with 44 strikeouts across 47.1 innings on the mound.
* Michael Hines' heroics led to multiple victories for the Fightin' Engineers.
* Hines hit the go-ahead home run in the top of the ninth of RHIT's 4-3 win over Greenville.
* He also recorded a three-RBI double in the bottom of the eighth inning against Anderson, putting the Fightin' Engineers up 6-5.
* Jackson Summers scored two runs in all three games against Anderson.
* Summers leads the team with 53 hits, 46 runs, 12 doubles, and three triples.
* Jackson Harms recorded his team-leading seventh home run against Anderson.
* Harms leads the team with 36 RBIs, while TJ Pipkins ranks second with 35 RBIs.

MILLIKIN NOTES:
* The Big Blue have thrived this season, recording a 29-8 mark with a 15-5 conference record.
* Millikin is currently on a seven-game winning streak.
* Sophomore Gavin Houchsins leads the team with a 1.59 ERA and eight saves.
* Houchins has posted a 3-0 record while striking out 49 batters in 39.2 innings.
* Freshman Brayden Saling has achieved a perfect 9-0 record on the mound with a 2.26 ERA.
* He has pitched three complete games, striking out 34 batters on the season.
* Sophomore Ty Cribbett leads the team with a .382 batting average and four triples.
* Cribbett has recorded 50 hits, 38 runs, nine doubles, three home runs, and 30 RBIs.
* Junior Carder Reich leads the team with 52 hits, 13 doubles, and 42 RBIs.
* Junior Leyton Ivers has scored a team-leading 39 runs on 39 hits.
 
TRANSYLVANIA NOTES:
* The Pioneers have recorded an overall mark of 24-10.
* Transylvania is currently the #2-seed in the HCAC with a 16-3 conference record.
* The Pioneers are coming off a three-game series sweep against Mt. St. Joseph.
* Junior Drew Bowles leads the team with an 8-1 record with a 2.03 ERA.
* Bowles has struck out 87 batters in 62 innings, while giving up just a .195 batting average against.
* Sophomore Ethan Dillon has recorded a .407 average at the plate with 44 hits and 33 runs.
* He leads the Pioneers with nine home runs and 39 RBIs.
* Senior Seita Shiratori leads the team with 45 hits and 36 runs.
* Shiratori has recorded a .372 batting average with 21 RBIs.
* Freshman Kaden Ford has recorded a team-leading .425 batting average with 30 runs on 31 hits.
* He has added six doubles, a team-best four triples, two home runs, and 21 RBIs.
 
MILLIKIN SERIES HISTORY:
* Rose-Hulman faces Millikin for the 14th time in program history.
* RHIT leads the series with a 9-4 record.
* The teams last met in 2004, with Rose-Hulman winning both games by scores of 6-5 and 10-9.
