Rose-Hulman Gears Up for the Gorloks

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Rose-Hulman heads to St. Louis, Missouri to take on the Webster Gorloks. The match will be held on Tuesday, September 15 at 7:30 PM.
 
ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* The Fightin' Engineers have a record of 3-1 on the season.
* The team opened the season with three consecutive victories, outscoring their opponents 14-2.
* Rose-Hulman is coming off a competitive 2-0 defeated to #1 WashU.
* Sophomore Alicia Gonzalez is coming off a career-high ten saves against WashU.
* She has recorded a 77.8% save percentage with one clean sheet this year.
* Junior Sydnee Schuler and sophomore Makayla Doherty each scored two goals this past week in Rose-Hulman's 7-1 win against Greenville.
* Schuler recorded the two opening goals in the first half.
* Doherty scored back-to-back goals in the second half.
* Freshman Delaney Untermeyer would also add her second goal of the season against Greenville.
* Senior Emma Johns recorded her third assist of the season against Greenville.
* She is now tied with freshman Madison Fleury for a team-high three assists.
* Junior Lena Darini continues to lead the team with three goals and five shots on goal.
 
WEBSTER NOTES:
* The Gorloks have a record of 1-2 this season.
* Webster opened the year with a 5-0 win over Knox and are coming off consecutive losses to Millikin and Wilmington.
* Senior Malaya Blakely has scored four of the team's six goals.
* Blakely recorded a hat trick against Knox.
* She has attempted 17 shots with ten shots on goal.
* Senior Riley Cappozzo and junior Mia Smith have each scored one goal.
* Senior Jasmine Hubbard has appeared in all 90 minutes in every game this year.
* Senior Leia Adkins has hauled in 21 saves with an 80.8% save percentage.
* Adkins recorded a season-high 13 saves against Millikin.
* She added a five save shutout over Knox.

* Rose-Hulman faces Webster for the 16th time in program history.
* The series is currently tied with a record of 7-7-1.
