TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and Manchester University will square off in a Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference baseball doubleheader on Sunday at noon at Art Nehf Field.
Manchester stands 11-3 overall and 4-0 in conference play entering Saturday's twinbill, while Rose-Hulman has a mark of 8-7 and 3-2 in league games. The Spartans earned an 8-4 victory in the series opener on Saturday afternoon.
The contest matches two perennial HCAC powers in a pair of nine-inning games. Manchester won the 2014 HCAC regular season title and earned a bid to the NCAA Division III World Series by winning the 2013 NCAA Mideast Regional at Rose-Hulman. The Fightin' Engineers won the HCAC Tournament title last year at Manchester and later advanced to the NCAA Regional final.
After Sunday's doubleheader, Rose-Hulman will travel to Franklin College for a single nine-inning game on Tuesday at 4 p.m.
